BIOGRAFIA

Attività clinica
Il Dottor Meursinge Reynders lavora nel suo studio di esclusiva ortodonzia in via Matteo Bandello da più di 25 anni.

Cura basata sull’evidenza scientifica
Il Dottor Meursinge Reynders ha una particolare passione nell’individualizzare il trattamento ortodontico per i propri pazienti sulla base della migliore evidenza scientifica (evidence-based health care). Per questa ragione egli ha ottenuto due titoli in questo campo, un MSc nell’evidence based health care all’Università di Oxford (Inghilterra) ed un PhD all’Università di Amsterdam (Olanda), focalizzandosi esclusivamente sulle valutazioni della qualità e sulla sintesi della ricerca della letteratura scientifica ortodontica. La sua ricerca presso queste Università lo ha preparato a condurre analisi qualitative sulla letteratura scientifica e ad identificare la miglior evidenza scientifica per il trattamento da eseguire nei confronti dei propri pazienti.

Insegnamento e ricerca
Il Dottor Meursinge Reynders ha insegnato ortodonzia clinica all’Università di Northwestern a Chicago ed è attualmente ricercatore associato al dipartimento di chirurgia orale e maxillofacciale all’Università di Amsterdam. Ha tenuto numerose conferenze in Nord America, Europa e Asia. Il Dottor Reint Meursinge Reynders ha condotto la sua ricerca all’Università di Oxford (Inghilterra), all’Università Northwestern (USA) e all’Università di Amsterdam (Olanda). Attualmente conduce studi meta epidemiologici con vari gruppi di ricerca a Milano, Roma ed Amsterdam. Ha pubblicato numerosi studi clinici e meta epidemiologici.

Laboratorio ortodontico
Un piano di trattamento individualizzato implica anche un apparecchio ortodontico individualizzato. Il Dottor Meursinge Reynders ha lavorato in diversi laboratori ortodontici a Chicago, durante il suo corso di specializzazione in Ortodonzia a Chicago, imparando a costruire questi apparecchi ortodontici su misura, individualizzati per le esigenze specifiche del singolo paziente.
